From 501c3 Made Simple • Created by Ana Ogbueze

Your community does not need you stuck trying to figure out the IRS alone. They need you prepared, organized, and ready to start.

If you are thinking about starting a nonprofit, this guide will help you understand what to prepare before you file, what decisions matter most, and how to take the next step with more confidence.

Why This Guide Exists

Most people do not start a nonprofit because they want to learn IRS regulations. They start because they want to solve a problem in their community.

This guide was created to help you understand the nonprofit formation process, avoid common mistakes, and make informed decisions before spending money on attorneys, formation services, or software you may not need yet. Grab the free Quick Start Roadmap to get oriented first.

If you are ready for the full step-by-step system, the 501(c)(3) Made Simple Course walks you through the complete process from idea to IRS approval.

About the Creator

Meet Ana Ogbueze

Since 2016, Ana Ogbueze has owned and operated Project: FULL OUT, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides training, performance opportunities, and development programs for Charlotte dancers from all walks of life — helping diversify the local dance industry and promote the therapeutic benefits of dance.

As a dance studio owner, producer, director, choreographer, and retired NBA Dance Team member, Ana has cast over 100 dancers each season and built a platform on one simple idea: push for opportunities.

She is not teaching theory here — she is the person who filed the paperwork, ran the nonprofit, and kept it thriving for nearly a decade.
